Got Questions?
Everything you need to know before getting started.
Yes — Kings Home Care is a registered NDIS provider, so you need an approved NDIS plan to access our services. If you're unsure whether you qualify or how to apply, our team can guide you through the process at no charge. We support participants who are self-managed, plan-managed, or NDIA-managed.
Absolutely. We believe the relationship between a participant and their support worker is central to good care. After your initial consultation we carefully match you with workers whose skills, experience, and personality suit your needs. If the match doesn't feel right, we'll find someone better — no awkward conversations needed.
In most cases we can begin services within 5 to 7 business days of your free consultation. For urgent situations we do our best to fast-track the process. Once your care plan is agreed and the paperwork is complete, we'll schedule your first visit and introduce you to your support worker.
Yes, without exception. Every Kings Home Care staff member holds a current NDIS Worker Screening Check, relevant first-aid certification, and any role-specific qualifications required. Workers also receive ongoing training in disability support, manual handling, and person-centred care practices before they visit any participant.
We currently support participants across the greater metropolitan area and a number of regional areas. During your free consultation we'll confirm whether we have workers available in your suburb. If we can't help directly, we'll point you toward the right local provider rather than leave you searching on your own.
Our services are priced in line with the NDIS Price Guide, so there are no out-of-pocket costs for participants whose plans cover the relevant support categories. We'll confirm exactly what's covered under your plan during your consultation so there are no surprises. Self-funded options are also available for services outside your plan.
We provide a wide range of NDIS supports including daily living assistance, personal care, community participation, transport assistance, behaviour support, therapy services, and support coordination. If you have a specific need not listed here, ask us — if we can't help directly we'll connect you with the right specialist.
We review your care plan regularly and adjust services as your needs or funding changes. If your plan is reviewed, your goals shift, or you simply need more hours, contact your coordinator and we'll update everything promptly. We can also help you prepare for your NDIS plan review to make sure you get the funding you actually need.
